My Professional Journey

I work as a Deputy Manager – CSR at Malabar Headquarters, Kozhikode, Kerala.

My work involves supporting the emotional well-being of Malabar Grandma Home residents and contributing to community healthcare through free medical camps organised by the Mobile Medical Unit.

My profession and passion share the same purpose — serving people with compassion, dignity and care.

For me, social service is not merely a professional responsibility; it is a personal commitment that reflects my values and passion.

Healing begins with self-awareness.

What we struggle to understand within ourselves, we may continue to carry.

Awareness helps us recognise these inner experiences and opens the door to healing, growth, and meaningful change.

My Journey: From Self-Awareness to Healing

My journey has been one of learning, unlearning, and rediscovering myself through life's experiences. Personal loss brought profound changes to my life and invited me to look more deeply at human emotions, relationships, grief, and the resilience of the human spirit.

Over time, I began to understand that healing is not about forgetting painful experiences or returning to who we once were. It is about learning to live with greater awareness, finding meaning in our experiences, and gradually discovering new ways to move forward.

My background in psychology, counselling, and yoga has helped me explore the connection between the mind, body, emotions, and inner awareness. These disciplines have shaped not only my understanding of human behaviour but also my approach to personal growth and emotional well-being.

My journey has also deepened my commitment to serving others. Through my work with individuals, elderly people, and communities, I have come to appreciate the importance of being heard without judgement, treated with dignity, and supported with compassion.

I believe every person carries experiences that influence how they think, feel, relate, and respond to life. When these experiences are approached with awareness and understanding, new possibilities for growth can emerge.

My Philosophy

I believe healing begins when we create space to understand ourselves with honesty and compassion. Self-awareness helps us recognise our patterns, understand our emotions, and make more conscious choices in our lives.

Through psychology, counselling, yoga, and mindfulness, my intention is to support people as they reconnect with their inner resources, strengthen their resilience, and move towards a more balanced and meaningful life.

My Purpose

To create a space where people feel seen, heard, understood, and empowered to discover their own capacity for healing.

Heal with Geetha is an expression of this purpose—a journey towards greater self-awareness, emotional well-being, and personal growth, approached with compassion, respect, and an understanding that every person's healing journey is unique.

Reflections for the journey

A little space to look within.

OSHO wisdom
“Discover yourself, otherwise you will have to depend on other people’s opinions, people who don’t even know themselves.”
On meditation
“When you do meditation, you get god consciousness and undisturbed peace in you. That will be added as a plus point to your material benefits also.”

Questions

Things people often ask
before a first session.

Is what I share confidential?

Your privacy matters. What you share during our sessions is treated with care and confidentiality, within applicable professional and legal limits. If there are any exceptions to confidentiality, we will discuss them with you.

What happens in the first session?

Our first conversation is an opportunity to understand what brings you here, what you are experiencing, and what you hope to work towards. There is no pressure to share everything at once. We will move at a pace that feels comfortable for you.

Do I need to prepare anything before my session?

Not at all. You don’t need to prepare anything or find the perfect words. You can begin wherever you are, even if your thoughts and feelings feel confusing.

Can I attend sessions online?

Yes, online sessions can offer a convenient and private space to talk from a place where you feel comfortable. Session availability, the platform, and practical arrangements can be discussed when booking.

How many sessions will I need?

Every person’s journey is different. Some people seek support for a specific concern, while others wish to explore deeper patterns and personal growth. We can review your needs and progress together, without rushing the process.

What if I feel emotional or find it difficult to talk?

You are welcome to bring whatever you are feeling. There is no expectation to be strong, explain everything clearly, or hold back your emotions. We can pause, take our time, and explore things gently.

Can counselling help me with grief, stress, or relationship difficulties?

Counselling can provide a supportive space to explore grief, stress, emotional difficulties, relationship concerns, and life transitions. The process is tailored to your needs and helps you understand your experiences and discover ways forward.

What if I need to reschedule my session?

Sometimes plans change, and that is understandable. Please let me know as early as possible so we can arrange another suitable time. Any cancellation or rescheduling policy will be shared when booking.
